Pricing from the street up
I price off what's actually closed on your street and in your subdivision, adjusted for the things buyers here pay for and the things they don't. Zestimates don't know your basement got finished.
Mahomet · Champaign County, Illinois
I'm Molly Jones. For 18 years I've helped Central Illinois families price and sell their homes for what they're actually worth, then line up the next purchase so the moving truck only comes one time.

How I sell a home
The basics are the same everywhere. The money is in the details, and the details in Mahomet are very specific.

I'll tell you which projects earn their money back and which ones to skip. Then I bring in the photographer, stager and contractors I trust so you aren't managing a crew.
Selling and buying at the same time is a timing problem. I negotiate both sides of the calendar so you aren't carrying two mortgages or living out of a storage unit.

About Molly
That last one doesn't make me your therapist. It means I notice when the house isn't the hard part.
I've sold real estate in Champaign County for 18 years and lived here for almost 25. I raised three kids here, so I know the school calendar, the commute to Carle, and which neighborhoods trick-or-treat hard.
I also own long-term and short-term rentals, so I look at a house the way the appraiser and the next buyer will. That's useful when you're selling, and even more useful when you're deciding what to buy next.
And I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist. Moving is one of the most stressful things families do. I keep the process calm and organized, and I can tell the difference between a negotiation problem and a family that just needs a day to think.
